R A H M A N A L T I N
Rahman Altin is a multi award winning Film and TV Composer / Opera Singer / Producer who lives in both Istanbul and Los Angeles.
He has been working for the Film and TV industry in both Europe and the US from his respective studios in Istanbul and LA.
He obtained his US Green Card due to Extraordinary Talent status in 2009.
After a mere 6 months in the US, Rahman began working with companies like Warner Brothers, HBO, Dreamworks 3D, Activision, Screen Gems, Section 9 Entertainment, Remote Control and on the following campaigns:
Untitled Top Secret Project, Green Lantern, The Pacific, Monsters vs Aliens, The Special Relationship, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea – PP
He was recently chosen to be the 2011 face of Johnnie Walker’s “Keep Walking” commercial series.
He has composed over 1,000 jingles for TV since 1999 for global brands like:
Mercedes Benz, Honda, Ikea, HSBC, Kellogg’s, Ford, Danone, Hyundai, Johnnie Walker, Vodefone, BP, Peugeot, Bridgestone, Turkish Airlines, Aviva, Knorr, Bosch, and many others.
Rahman has worked with the world’s biggest ad agencies, such as:
Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA, Euro RSCG, Grey Worldwide, BBDO, DDB, Young & Rubicam, Mc Cann Erickson, Leo Burnett, D’ARCY, Lowe, Thompson, MAP, RPM.
In April of 2011, Rahman released an immensely comprehensive Trailer and Commercial catalogue of 127 cues via Static Music, one of the biggest names in the Trailer industry in Los Angeles since 1999.
Rahman is currently working on a confidential blockbuster project, already touted to become the biggest film in 2012. The teaser trailer featuring his music will debut this summer.
Besides Film, Television and Videogame, Rahman also composes for Ballet, Modern Dance, Performances and Drama. He composed for the biggest Fashion shows in New York Fashion Week in 2003, 2004 and 2006.
